How It Works
Residential Advance provides a convenient way to apply for and receive your commission advance.
- Login and complete the secure, online application.
- Upload or email the requested documentation, including:
- PDF copy of the fully executed purchase and sale contract, along with any addenda that extends the closing date or modifies terms of the contract.
- Image of your current drivers license
- Banking information – please provide either an image of a check or screen print from online banking, or something that shows your printed bank account number. This is for your protection to confirm against the information you provide us on the application. Typos or transposed numbers happen on occasion, which can significantly delay your receipt of funds.
- If you have online presence (realtor.com or zillow or similar) that reflects your sales activity, you may not need to provide documentation of your completed transactions. If you do not have online presence, we ask that you provide an MLS or similar report showing your 12 months sales activity.
- Following review and approval, and after we receive escrow verification reply from title or escrow company, the Commission Advance Agreement will be emailed to you and the Broker Authorization to your qualifying broker, each for e-signature.
NOTE: Documents are sent for e-signature via Acrobat® Sign from Residential Advance. Occasionally, the email ends up in spam/junk folder. If you, or your broker do not see the email, please check spam folder. - Once both documents have been signed, we will initiate a wire transfer and you will receive an email to let you know the advance has been approved and funded.
- Please note this important restriction. While you have an outstanding commission advance with us, you are not permitted to apply for or obtain a commission advance from another commission advance company, either on the property assigned to Residential Advance or any other pending contract.
For new customers, the following documents are required.
